A Level Results 2019

Radnor House is once again celebrating its A Level results, with a 98% pass rate, almost a quarter of the grades at A* and A, and some outstanding individual successes.  Most importantly, everyone who wanted a university place next year has secured one, many of them at Russell Group institutions.

Head, Darryl Wideman, commented: “There was much to celebrate for our students this year and it’s great to know that our Radnor House leavers have found themselves some first-class opportunities for the future.  Everyone should feel justifiably proud of their achievements and I wish them all well as they move on from here to continue their educational journey".

GCSE Results 2018

Following the excellent A Level results last week, Radnor House is today celebrating further success with its GCSE results, bucking the national trend by increasing its top grades significantly and raising its overall pass rate. Over half the grades awarded to our Year 11 pupils were at the top levels (A*/A or 9-7), up from 40% last year, and the A*to C (or 9-4) pass rate was over 95%, up from 91.5% last year. These impressive results show clear signs of progress and highlight some exceptional achievement at the top end, where nearly 10% of the new numbered grades were awarded at a 9, the highest level possible.

Head, Darryl Wideman, said: “Despite all the predictions in the media that this was going to be a bad year for results nationally, Radnor House pupils have done themselves proud with their achievements, helped in no small measure by the huge commitment and dedication of their teachers. The increased pass rate was very encouraging and the number of top grades was exceptional.”
