Science

Science is about asking questions, and the philosophy that underpins our teaching at Radnor House is to stimulate students’ curiosity about the world around them. We offer highly practical, challenging courses in Biology, Chemistry and Physics which aim to engage and motivate young people to be the scientists of the future.

Pupils experience an integrated, practical based course in the prep and lower schools, which gives them a thorough grounding in the fundamental concepts of Science.

We follow the AQA examination board for GCSE and A Level courses for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Teaching for all year groups takes place in fully equipped laboratories by specialist teachers. We aim to create an environment where students are not afraid to experiment and ask questions, whilst delivering a rigorous and comprehensive Science education that will prepare students for entry into higher education and the scientific world of the future.
