Ruth Collett Sculpture Visit as part of Radnor House Enrichment Programme

We were delighted to welcome Ruth Collett to talk with our pupils about her work as an artist and sculpture. 'This year, one of her pieces was selected by Grayson Perry for The Royal Academy's 250th Summer Exhibition where it hangs alongside David Hockney, Wolfgang Tillmans and Anish Kapoor!'

On Tuesday, the latest AEP talk was given by Ruth Collett, an artist who specialises in sculpture.  She described her work with the waxworks at Madame Tussaud’s, where she helped create the Brad Pitt model.  Ruth Collett also described in detail the processes behind her work and it was lovely to see a younger audience of budding artists from Year alongside our older Radnorians, totally enraptured by what they heard.
