Human Resources, Compliance and Privacy Officer

Do you have an eye for detail, a passion for quality, a tenacious streak and a strong administrative background?

We are looking to appoint a talented and responsible Human Resources, Compliance and Privacy Officer to ensure regulatory compliance throughout all aspects of the school. Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll be working with colleagues at all levels keeping policies and risk assessments up to date and compliant with relevant demands of the law and of the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate. You will work closely with the HR Manager to assist with compliance in safer recruitment practice and to ensure operational excellence through all professional development and staffing matters across the school, including ensuring staff meet their regulatory compliance objectives. You will also take lead on assisting staff with their responsibilities in relation to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and any data requests which may be received.

Radnor House is a 9-18, selective, co-educational, independent day school set in historic buildings on the banks of the River Thames in Twickenham, just thirty minutes from Central London. It was judged as ‘Excellent’ in all categories by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in February 2020.  The relatively small size of the school (c.440 pupils) enables us to focus on the individual needs of all our pupils, fostering a supportive and collaborative community where pupil success is regularly celebrated.

The post is full-time and a 52-week, year-round position, offering a competitive salary. Experience in the education, or another similarly highly regulated, sector could be advantageous but is not essential.

Applications can only be considered in the form of a completed school non-teaching staff application form which should be submitted with a cover letter to hr@radnorhouse.org as soon as possible.
