Radnor House is a 9-18, selective, co-educational, independent day school set in historic buildings on the banks of the Thames in Twickenham, just thirty minutes from Central London. The relatively small size of Radnor House enables us to focus on the individual needs of all of our pupils.  This fosters a supportive and collaborative community where success is regularly celebrated.

Applications can only be considered on completion of our school non-teaching staff or teaching staff application form, which should be submitted by email with a cover letter to: as soon as possible.

Radnor House is an equal opportunities employer, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Pre-appointment screening, including an enhanced DBS check is routinely carried out on successful applicants. Director of Operations

The Director of Operations plays a key role in the day-to-day success and continued growth of Radnor House Twickenham, ensuring that business and support activities are managed effectively.

Responsible for the management of the school premises, health & safety, compliance & risk management, and leading a large team of non-teaching staff, the Director of Operations is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting directly to the Principal and with regular involvement with the Board of Governors.

The Director of Operations leads on administration, HR, IT and premises, working closely with the heads of these departments to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the school, and alongside the Financial Controller to ensure its sound financial management.  This is a diverse and demanding role that would suit someone dynamic and inspiring who is keen to get involved and who has a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude.

There will be an exciting new challenge in September 2023, when the Senior School at Radnor House moves to its new location at Kneller Hall, creating the largest independent school site in southwest London and requiring considerable initiative and oversight to ensure the successful management of this significant change.

Applications should be in the form of a support staff application form which can be downloaded below, and returned to by midday on Friday 30th December 2022.
