A Level Subjects
Students at Radnor House are expected to undertake three A Level courses in the Lower Sixth along with an EPQ.
A successfully completed EPQ is viewed favourably by the country's leading universities and employers. Developing independent research and analytical skills alongside the ability to produce extended pieces of work is fantastic preparation for the rigours of Higher Education.
At Radnor House, every student in Year 12 commences the EPQ through developing an initial idea, undertaking preliminary research and completing a work plan in the Autumn term. Although not mandated, students are encouraged to take their EPQ through to accreditation.
Each subject receives six hours of teaching per week, as well as the flexibility to seek out members of staff during your study periods for clarification. In addition, students are expected to complete five hours of study per subject outside of lessons. Class sizes vary but are typically no more than twelve.
