A Level Results August 2025

The Principal, Amy Cavilla announces, Radnor House Hits Historic A-Level High!

"We are proud of our students' excellent A level results borne of hard work and their love of their chosen subjects. These will allow them to secure places at their universities of choice.

The A* and A grades are at a historic high: 24% of students attained  AAA - A*A*A*A*

One in five grades were at A*

Just under 80% of all grades were A*-B.  A*-A (46%) and A*-B (79%) grades are higher than in 2024, which were at 42% and 73% respectively.

Our value added score is 0.37 - which tells us that each A level grade is over one third higher than it might have been, based on GCSE grades starting points.

The school's A Level results have been improving steadily year on year. In 2025, every single A level grade is just under a whole grade higher than in 2019. For example, a student who got 3 grade Bs in 2019, would get up to three grade A's in 2025.

Congratulations to our students and thank you to our dedicated team of staff and our community of supportive parents."

GCSE Results 2024 (Results for August 2025 will be updated Thursday 21st August)

Following the success of the A Level results, today it was the turn of the Year 11 pupils at Radnor House Twickenham to celebrate another set of outstanding GCSE results.

The overall pass rate was 98%, with just under 60% of the grades awarded at 9-7.  Despite the national trend seeing the number of top grades fall once more this year, Radnor House pupils again matched last year’s number – the best in the school’s history not affected by Covid – which is a truly exceptional outcome.

Head, Stephen Carrington, said, “Our Year 11 cohort should feel justifiably proud of their GCSE results, both individually and collectively.  These grades are testament to all of their hard work and perseverance, and notwithstanding the first two years of their senior schooling being affected by the pandemic.

While results nationally have returned to levels last seen in 2019, our pupils achieved nearly double the percentage of 9/8 grades awarded that year.  This set of results reflects the determination of the pupils, the guidance of their teachers and the support of their parents and puts them in a very strong position for the next stage in their educational journey.  Many congratulations!”
