Head, Darryl Wideman, commented: “This cohort of Upper Sixth pupils has faced huge challenges in recent months, first with the impact of the virus and lately with the chaos of the grading system. They have shown commendable resilience and they can reflect with justifiable pride on an excellent set of grades, both individually and collectively. We wish all our leavers well as they move on and we congratulate them for everything they have achieved. There was much to celebrate for our students this year and it’s great to know that our Radnor House leavers have found themselves some first-class opportunities for the future. Everyone should feel justifiably proud of their achievements and I wish them all well as they move on from here to continue their educational journey".

Following the excellent A Level results last week, Radnor House is once again celebrating its best ever GCSE results with an overall pass rate of 99% and with 55% of the grades at 7-9. 100% of pupils achieved 5 or more GCSEs grade 9 to 4, with some outstanding individual performances. Two pupils secured a full set of eleven grade 9s – an exceptional achievement.
Head, Darryl Wideman, said: “Our Year 11 cohort can feel incredibly proud of their GCSE results, both individually and collectively. They have faced an extraordinary year, first with the disruption from the virus and then with the fiasco of the grade awarding process – none of which was their fault. They have shown tremendous resilience throughout and they can feel justifiably proud of everything they have achieved, which has been confirmed today. Very well done to all the pupils and thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to help them achieve so much!”
