A Level Results August 2026 - Raising the Bar Again!

For a fourth year in a row, Radnor House pupils celebrate record A Level results – a truly outstanding achievement.

With a 100% pass rate, nearly half of all grades awarded A*-A, with 83% A*- B, up from 79% in 2025.

One quarter of all Upper 6th pupils achieved at least AAA or better with some pupils completing a clean sweep of 4 or 5 A*s 

“Our Upper 6th cohort should feel justifiably proud of their A Level results, individually and collectively.  These grades are testament to their hard work and perseverance, the expert guidance they have received from our dedicated staff, and of course the support from our wonderful community of parents.

These results will allow our pupils to secure places at their universities of choice and give them a very strong foundation for the future.  Many congratulations!”

GCSE Results 2026 - Record Breaking Radnor House Results for 2026!

Following on from the outstanding A Level results last week, our Year 11 pupils celebrated historic high GCSE outcomes today!

As with the A Level results, today’s GCSE grades represent record achievement for the fourth consecutive year.  One in three grades (31%) were awarded the top mark of 9, up 10% on last year, with over half of all grades awarded a 9-8 (A**/A*).

Commenting on the results, Head, Stephen Carrington, said, “We are delighted for our pupils and their outstanding achievement.  With three quarters of all grades awarded 9-7, and an average GCSE grade of 7.37, up from 7.15 last year, our pupils should be very proud with what their hard work and perseverance has achieved.

These results are a reflection of our core ethos, where outstanding academic outcomes are achieved through a supportive and inclusive approach, underpinned by lived values and excellent teaching.  Our pupils can look forward to the next step in their educational journey with great confidence, not just because of their academic success realised here today, but because of the well-rounded, conscientious young adults they have become.”
