Curriculum
In Years 7-9, students study English, Mathematics, Sciences, Geography, History, R.S., French or Spanish, Latin, Music, Drama, Art, Reflections and Konnections. GCSE options are chosen in Year 9 to commence the following year.
In Years 10-11, students study a core of Maths, English Literature and Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Additionally, they choose three options from among French, Spanish, Latin, Geography, History, Business Studies, Religious Studies, Drama, Music, Art Craft and Design, P.E.
Some students will also take a Further Maths level 2 certificate.
As enrichment, some students may opt to take a Higher Project Qualification in Year 10; a precursor to the sixth form Extended Project Qualification – a facilitated but largely self-managed project leading to certification which is worth half a GCSE (HPQ) or half an A Level (EPQ).
