After spending the last term studying the set design, cinematography and writing within the world of Harry Potter, this visit was an exciting culmination.

Pupils first enjoyed a classroom session looking at how set and costume designers prepared and distressed costumes and props used in the films, including the outfits worn by Daniel Radcliffe and Gary Oldman.

This was followed by a full tour of the sets, including Dumbledore's Office, the Forbidden Forest, Platform 9 3/4, Diagon Alley and a vast, scaled-up model of the Hogwarts Castle.

All in all, it was an inspiring and successful trip for our lucky pupils in the Junior School!
