The children all produced performances that showed enormous courage as they each stood alone on the stage in front of their peers, parents and staff to recite a wide range of poems.

It was an extremely difficult job for our Head of English, Mrs Rutherford, to decide on the winners, so Francesca (Year 5) and Jack (Year 6) can feel justifiably proud of their success. The runners-up were Zain (Year 5), Anuska, Georgia, and Esme (all Year 6), but everyone who took part deserves great credit for what they achieved.
